What constitutes proper use of the public space is a widely disputed topic in the Netherlands because different cultures use this space differently. As one might expect, one would hope. Alas this is generally not the case.
In my way of working, people that are successful in occupying the public space tend to be interested in how different forms of presence there could potentially have a positive influence on how that space and how they are perceived. I am developing these foodscape ideas as platforms to create a positive and exuberant presence in the public space.
