Sustainability and ecology were some more subjects addressed in this course. Our design should take into account the resources present in the earth as well as the cyclic processes existing in the Nature: “Waste does not exist. Waste is food” is a design concept. In relation to this, there are two important principles: “Nothing disappears, Everything spreads”. Besides, the design should stimulate diversity, support health, taking into account people with physical or mental disabilities and children, being important to question ourselves if they also be able to profit from this design project. Another important factor is to balance the production, the consumption and the growing population. So, based on principles and notions it should be possible to design in a sustainable and ecological way, respecting Nature and the future generations.
