In the Witnessed Presence research piece I have taken cases, events, from my own work. Using the Being-Here interface, placing these descriptions in a rich pool along with the work of other artists, other writers has revealed to me, many new associations. An example, as I cycle through and view the entries of the other artists, I find my own work back in the 'related things: art', 'related things: experience' column to the right. Aside from motivating me to view the entries of other participating artists and writers (motivational hypertext!) it was enlightening to see new vocabularies associated with entries that by theme and key word apparently are linked. Patterns emerging from the Zeitgeist soup or not, I see these connections as a nourishing reflection on my work.
