Our subsystem is the water cycle system and we aim to provide solutions that will support the realization of the vision of a selfsufficient Texel in 2020. To achieve this we will look into the current state and previously attempted innovations, then requirements for the water system will be formulated (i.e. how much water is needed? drinking water/grey water?). From this we can start evaluating different possible sustainable technologies and, depending on available time, decide to focus one promising technology or design an integrated system of possibly different technologies. An interesting possibility may be to discuss solutions with stakeholders involved like the municipality and PWN.
