A comfortable presence in the public space is something I look for when identifying people that might be interesting collaborators. I see this presence as a tremendous opportunity.
This image was taken during my research in Den Haag's Schilderswijk. I came upon these young men whilst photographing this public space. I specifically asked these young men to behave like <i>hang jeugd, </i> idle youth. This took about 4 shots to get right but I needed some images of this illusive creature.
