The images above were taken in Amsterdam West where I was researching potential interest in community orchards and becoming involved in all the spinoff that fruit trees and berry bushes create. Another thing I always learn is that some of these kids are the children of parents with extensive knowledge and experience when it comes to a wide range of aspects associated with food production. These kids have watched grandmothers, aunties and mothers make jam, prune trees, make fruit leather, and dry fruit.
