Yesterday we've participated workshop about Bio-Mimicry at Office of InterfaceFlor. It was very interesting and inspirational. First two days of our delft workshop we've identified and interpreted our challenge. Then we've discovered new natural models. We can call it that we use a Design Spiral of Challenge to Biology.
Our topic is to create shelter for a small community. We've discussed if it should be whole village or just main public 'building'.
After workshop we've started to thinking about nature in different way. We are fascinating by Water Lilies. This plant can stay on water thanks to its construction.
There is a great potential of this quality. We can combine it with other natural feature as bird bones, corals and create beatiful floating city.
